Each spring, the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire brings together builders, designers, and homebuyers for one of the region’s most anticipated events, the Sioux Empire Parade of Homes. For our team at Van Buskirk Homes, it’s more than just a showcase; it’s an opportunity to connect, inspire, and demonstrate what’s possible in today’s homebuilding landscape.
A Showcase of Craftsmanship and Innovation
The Parade of Homes is designed to give the community an inside look at the latest trends in new construction from modern layouts and smart-home technology to timeless design and craftsmanship. Held over two weekends each spring and fall, the event invites visitors to tour a wide range of homes across the Sioux Empire, offering inspiration for future homeowners and insight into the work of local builders.
With homes open from 1:00–5:00 PM on May 9-10 and 16-17, attendees can explore at their own pace, meet builders on-site, and experience firsthand the details that make each home unique.
Our Homes, Our Passion
“Participating in the Parade is something we look forward to every year,” said Jordan Hefner of Van Buskirk Homes. “In 2026, we’re proud to feature two homes in the spring event, each thoughtfully designed to reflect different lifestyles while maintaining the quality and attention to detail we’re known for.”
On the eastern side of Sioux Falls, we’re featuring an exceptional 3-bedroom home with high-end finishes, thoughtful design, and quality craftsmanship throughout.
